1. Using Athena

Eligibility

By using Athena you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission to use the app.

No account required

Athena has no accounts, logins or passwords. It runs entirely on your device, and there is no server for us to sign you in to.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Athena lawfully and not to reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any related systems, or interfere with its operation.

2. Not medical advice

Athena is a period and cycle tracking tool for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Predictions, fertile-window estimates and phase information are calculated from the data you enter and from general research — they are not tailored to your individual health.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your health, especially if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or managing a medical condition. If you notice anything concerning about your cycle or health, seek medical advice — do not rely on the app.

3. Your data

Everything you log in Athena is stored locally on your device. We have no access to it and cannot recover it for you. If you delete your data or uninstall the app, it is gone permanently. Keeping your own backups, if you want them, is your responsibility. Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual property

Ownership

Athena and this website — including all content, design and functionality — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

Limited license

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to use Athena for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify or create derivative works from it without our prior written consent.

5. Athena Pro and purchases

Optional upgrade

The core tracker is free. Athena Pro is an optional purchase that unlocks advanced analysis and additional insights. The free features remain fully functional whether or not you buy Pro. Athena Pro is offered both as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and as a one-time Lifetime purchase.

Billing

Purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play and managed anonymously through RevenueCat; we never receive your name, email or payment details.

Auto-renewing subscriptions

Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription automatically renews for the same period, at the price shown, unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal — the current period runs to its end, and the free tier stays available afterward.

Lifetime purchase

The Lifetime option is a single, one-time purchase — not a subscription. It does not auto-renew and is never billed again; it unlocks Athena Pro on your device permanently.

Promo codes

Promo codes may unlock Pro features; only the code and an anonymous purchase ID are ever sent to our redemption service. Refunds, where applicable, are handled by the App Store or Google Play under their policies.

6. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Athena and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, error-free or free of harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Athena — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Must Have Apps SIA and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from your use of Athena or your violation of these Terms.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are shown by an updated revision date above. Continued use of Athena after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia, where Must Have Apps SIA is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
